- Malaysia recognized the combined Investigation Team (JIT) to examine theMystery of MH 370 incident, working with overseas aviation establishment and experts.
- Neither the crew nor the aircraft's contact systems relay a suffering signal, indications of bad weather, or methodological problems before the aircraft vanished.
- Two passengers travelling on stolen passports were investigated, but eliminated as suspects. Malaysian police have recognized the captain as the major suspect if human interference was the cause of the vanishing, after clearance of all others on the flight of doubtful motives. Power was gone to the aircraft's satellite data unit (SDU) at several point between 01:07 and 02:03; the SDU logged on Inmarsat's satellite contact network at 02:25—three minutes after the airplane left the series of radar.
- Based on study of the satellite connections, the airplane turned south after passing north of Sumatra and the flight nonstop for five hours with little deviation in its track, ending when its fuel was exhausted.
